Child custody, visitation and parenting time are among the most contentious family law issues, particularly during divorce proceedings. Emotions inevitably run high, and reaching an agreement can become difficult.
I am Stanley A. Kweller, Attorney at Law. Since 1977, I have represented clients in a wide range of child custody and visitation disputes. If your parenting rights are being scrutinized, I will fight on your behalf and help make sure your interests are heard. I am fully prepared to do what is necessary to help you achieve the best possible outcome, either through an agreement with your spouse or in court.

Determining Child Custody and Visitation Arrangements
The court is required to consider a variety of factors when determining custody and parenting plans. Those factors include:
- Love, affection and emotional ties between the parents and children
- The parent's ability to provide food, clothing, shelter and basic necessities
- The amount of time that parents can and do spend with their children
- The stability of the parents' family unit
Recent legislation also is in place regarding modifications to temporary custody and parenting time arrangements. These new guidelines require the requesting spouse to prove that failure to alter arrangements would result in substantial harm to the children.
