What working with me is like
Having the right lawyer will help you cope with stress
Divorce is likely to be one of the most stressful times in your life. It will help to have friends, family and your spiritual advisor or therapist around you for support. Most important, it will help knowing that your lawyer has the experience, knowledge and skill to lead you through it with an eye toward the future, rather than the past.
No two divorces are the same because no two married couples are the same. But there is one thing that all people have in common: The hope for a better future. When we sit down to talk about your divorce, I will ask questions about how you want your future to look six months after the divorce, two years after, and even 10 years into the future.
We won’t dwell on the past and I will make sure you remain focused on getting through the emotions, rather than dwelling on your frustrations or anger. I’ll listen and care, of course, but our goal will always be to help you remain focused on protecting your rights, protecting your family and watching out for your financial interests.
